Alabama-Southern Miss Game on Pay-Per-View

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The Alabama-Southern Mississippi football game on
Saturday, October 11, will be a pay-per-view telecast in Alabama, Crimson
Tide Sports Marketing General Manager Butch Henry announced Monday. Kickoff
is slated for 2:04 p.m. (CDT).

The telecast will be available throughout Alabama on local cable systems as
well as satellite systems.  It will be offered on the DISH Network in
Alabama and Mississippi only.

In Alabama and Mississippi, large C-band users may purchase the game by
calling 1-800-TVSTARS.  Commercials C-band users may purchase the game by
calling 1-888-TVSTARS.  The telecast is not available on Direct TV.

In other states, fans may purchase the game through ESPN Game Plan where
available.

David Crane and former Tide quarterback Tyler Watts will call the action
from the booth, with Chris Stewart on the sidelines.

The Southern Miss game is Homecoming on the UA campus with the traditional
Pep Rally and bonfire set for Friday night on Denny Quad starting at 7 p.m.
The Homecoming parade starts in downtown Tuscaloosa Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Coca-Cola Kickoff on the Quad will start at 11 a.m. with the volleyball
team appearing in the Mayfield Dairy team tent between Noon and12:45 p.m.
The Coca-Cola Inflatables will return to the Quad for the Southern Miss
game.

As part of the 15th anniversary celebration at the Paul W. Bryant Museum,
Golden Flake will again this year display the set from The Bear Bryant Show
from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  The set will be on the lawn of the Museum, and for a
one dollar donation to the Museum, fans can have their picture taken on the
show's set.

In addition, for this game only, the Crimson Tide Sports Network's Jeep
Pre-game show and the Legends Tent will move to the Museum lawn.  Former
Tide place kicker Peter Kim will appear in the Legends Tent between 11:30 am
and 12:15 p.m.  The radio broadcast begins at Noon with Eli Gold, Ken
Stabler and Tom Roberts.

The Jeep Pre-Game show and Legends Tent will return to Coca-Cola Kickoff on
the Quad for the Tennessee game, Oct. 25.

The Alabama-Southern Miss game is sold out.
