I have several comments this morning, but let me throw this one out for discussion first:
Ok, reports are that Brodie 'might' play this week against Southern Miss. We've heard this same song and dance a few years ago. Remember when Zow and Tyler were our QBs and Tyler got hurt before the Auburn game? ExHC Fran put out the smoke that Tyler 'might' play in the Iron Bowl, thus Auburn had to continue to practice for both QBs. Zow ended up starting and we kicked the crap outta Allbarn, Same situation today. Sorta. Anyway, my comment is that we don't play Brodie at all this weekend. Give the game to Brandon and let him go start-to-finish and gain playing experience. Save Brodie and his shoulder until the UT game. Don't take a chance on hurting Brodie in the USM game. We need him to be well for the UT game, which to me, is a much more important game. A win against UT will go much further to help heal the wounds than would a win against USM.
