Croom didn't coach under Curry.  He left with Perkins and went to Tampa Bay.

Deer Queenie, you are entitled to your opinion no
matter how wrong it is.  :-)  For a journeyman QB,
Fiedler turned into a fair QB for Miami under Shula. 
I don't think having college coaching experience is a
big deal except in recruiting, and I think that Mike
being from South Florida had a little something to do
with his hiring.
