He only puts them out side during the day and only during certain times of the year....according to him they don't like temp extremes....They have portable cages that they keep them in....in the house they're free to roam, but usually stay near their cage....Unless they're wanting to play, then they'll be all over you....He has some beautiful birds....two or three Macaws, conures, parrots, you name it....Jamie
