A motion to dismiss federal indictments against Logan Young has been denied and the case appears headed to trial in Memphis.
Young, a booster for the University of Alabama football program was indited by a grand jury on Oct. 30, 2003, on three counts: traveling in interstate commerce for the purpose of bribing a public servant, structuring financial transactions to evade reporting requirements as part of a illegal activity, and conspiracy to do so.
Judge Daniel Breen of the U.S. District Court for Western Tennessee rejected the motion made by attorney Jim Neal.
