Jobu reminded me of a story. My Mother belongs to the "Church of God" & for those that don't know, they're pretty radical. She drug me with her as long as she could & my Dad never went with her. After he died, the thing she most worried about was his soul. I went to church with her right after he died because she didn't want to go alone. Lo & Behold, the sermon was about the privacy of religion. The preacher said that he didn't believe that people had to come to the alter to be saved. They could communicate with God on their own terms & still get to heaven. This helped my Mother immensely because my Dad knew he was dying & I told her that she had no idea what conversations took place between him & God during this time.
