I am a Legacy. I was the only child for 13 years so my Dad took to many of Bama games including #315 and (sadly) #322. I also remember going to PSU and ND games too and met Coach Bryant during one of the trips to the games. My poor dad had to talk his way out of several fights after the games b/c I was mouthing off to the opponents even at the ripe old age of 5. He was very excited when I went to Bama (the first in the family); he was even more thrilled that I was at UA during the National Championship (my senior year).
I am raising my kids to be just as passionate about Alabama. My son (who is 17 months old now) was playing with some toys the other night and I just happen to run across the UA/UF replay from 99 - he jumped up and starting clapping and cheering; my daughter is just about as bad!
