I don't seem to remember him sucking so bad the night we beat LSU in their house when he scored 14 points in the final few minutes to keep the long winning streak alive in their house. I also have the 1999 Florida game on DVD where he and Shawn Alexander whipped da Gaytors 40 - 39. He didn't sick there either. I know, I know, there are numerous instances where he did cost us some big games. But he did win a few as well. I appreciate him for those big wins.
Gawd I love Bama!

I was behind him in line buying beer one night back in T-town after his
playing days were over. He was bitter, bitter, bitter. Upset about his
playing time.

Good for him. I'm glad to see he's still trying to be a quarterback when he grows up.

The University of Alabama's all-time leading passer, Andrew Zow, has
signed with the Birmingham Steeldogs of the af2 indoor football league.

Zow, who passed for 5,983 yards at Alabama from 1998-01, will compete for
the starting job with the Steeldogs, coached by former Crimson Tide
running back Bobby Humphrey.

The native of Lake Butler, Fla., will be starting his second stint with
the Steeldogs. He signed a one-week contract last summer to serve as the
team's emergency quarterback, but did not play.

Zow is the 10th former University of Alabama player to be assigned to the
Steeldogs in the team's six-year history. Former Alabama and Tuscaloosa
County High School defensive lineman David Daniel played in Birmingham
last season and is still listed on the team's active roster.

The Steeldogs will open their home schedule April 9 against San Diego at
the BJCC Arena. All home games will be played on Saturday nights at 7.
