KNOXVILLE — The Alabama conspiracy theorists will have a field day with the
University of Tennessee's latest hire in the athletics department.

Sara Gray Kramer, the daughter of former SEC Commissioner Roy Kramer, started
work this week as UT's assistant director of tickets. She was previously at
Central Michigan as the assistant director of athletic development in charge of
the Chippewa Club.

Williams have charged that Roy Kramer was part of a conspiracy along with

conspiracy and negligence, as well as Cottrell's claims against the NCAA. What

the past.

Several others were in the running for the job, including Danny Burnley, who
has worked in the UT ticket department for more than 20 years.

Gray Kramer will work under Chris Besanceney, who came to UT last year as
assistant athletics director for tickets. Gray Kramer was Central Michigan's
athletics ticket manager for three years before being promoted to assistant
director of athletic development in 2002.

After stepping down as SEC commissioner, Roy Kramer retired to Rarity Bay, a
golf resort just south of Knoxville. He's originally from Maryville, Tenn. [...]
