We will dedicate the second hour of the meeting to power-aware/energy-efficient networking. According to the WG's charter, rtgwg is the appropriate place to discuss topics that are not ready for their own WG/BOF and that are related to routing. Please be clear that this section of the meeting should not be considered a BOF or side-meeting or any other such construct targeted at potentially creating a WG. The goal is to discuss the technology and potential work items, if any, that the WG may take on. Ideally we would reach agreement (pending discussion on the list, of course) on what the topic covers, what may belong in the IETF at this time, and whether there is interest in doing any work. We have asked all the presenters to start a discussion on the list about their drafts, pointing out the parts they would like the most feedback on. The intention is to both have an idea of the initial interest and for the content to not be completely new at the in-person meeting, hopefully resulting in better discussions. Please take a look and make comments on line. Note to presenters: The time on the agenda includes presentation and discussion, so please plan accordingly. Given that the WG meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, and taking other commitments into account, we MUST receive all presentations by the end of the day on Monday Mar/11 (pick your favorite timezone).
