Dear Freinds ,
I draw your attention to an earlier mail sent by me in october last year when i
had informed all that an PIO who had been levied the Maximum penalty by
Karnataka Information Commission in august 2007 has approached the Karnataka
High Court for cancellation of KIC orders leveying penalty .It was also
reported in papers that he plaint of PIO before high court was that he was
entrusted with INDEPENDENCE DAY work hence he could not Provide Information in
time bound period .

Today It is reported that the Karnataka High Court has quashed the Information
Commissions orders of levying Rs 25000/- PIO is K Ranganathayya Thasildar
Yelahanka, Bangalore North District , The RTI Requester is Mr Aswathnarayana
(Date of RTI Appln 20/12/2006) Matter pertains to Acquistion and encroachment
of Burial Grounds in Kodihalli village

We are at present donot know the Details of the High court Orders and will get
them shortly .

However at present Juncture we deduce that there must be some grave mistakes in
KIC Orders /Procedure etc which is the Reason for quashing which is a grim
news for all of us
