Dear Members,
I believed and practised freedom of expression as an individual.
The same has got further strengthened after I commenced using RTI. The Act came
into effect from 12th October 2005. I made my first RTI application on 15th
October 2005.
One realisation has strongly come on using RTI that - Democracy is by the
people, for the people and of the people - I must express myself freely without
self-imposed constraints and must contribute towards the development of India.
And, notwithstanding the threatining, the charegesheeting, the suspension, the
harassment, the victmisation and the suffering after commencement of using RTI,
I have a terrific sense of satisfaction.
I have had a quite satisfying working life of 3 1/2 decades. Few months are
left for me to become a Senior Citizen and may be a decade or so of active life
which I would like to contribute towards RTI and social service.
