I had under sec 32 of the maharashtra co-operative act. requested the society for certain documents like minutes of managing committe. etc on not receiving same moved Dy.reg who after sending 3 notices finally send written order to society to comply, society still did not comply wrote letters Dy.Registar to take action against the said society 6 months now after passing orders Dy.Registar did nothing, under RTI act asked for progress report on the same, the reply that progress report does not come under RTI, filed appeal at DDR3 at madha room no 3 before DDR Shri Vikas Rasal he too dismissed my application, on asking the reason why he said it is left up to the discreation of the Dy.Registar to take action or not to take action i them asked him to be discreet and explain the meaning of discreation, as there was no forthcoming reply, i told him that by his meaning of discreation means that if packet is paid to Dy.Regstar he will take action, if not given he will not take action, at which he said why are you making accusations, I to Mr Vikas Rasal that for 3 years i have number of trips to the Dy.Registars office and have seen what is happening and there are articles in housing times where they state there is rampant corruption at the offices of Dy.Registars. under rti also one does not get satisfactory replies, filing 2nd appeal hearing which comes after one year. State information officer also mostly passes verdict in favour of these corrupt officials, and then one even cannot go to court, except filing writ petition
