Last month, while going through the CIC Cause List I happened to notice that one N M Chavda of Gandhinagar had a hearing of his second appeal against the UPSC on 28th April. I remembered that GIC decision related to disclosure of Annual Confidential Report, a land mark decision had one NM Chavda as the appellant.
I called up Mr. Babubhai Vaghela of this list who knew a lot of people in Gandhinagar and asked him if he know about this hearing. Babubhai managed to speak with Mr Chavda and it was learnt that the latter was not aware of the hearing. I do not know what transpired later, but the hearing was apparently hear yesterday. Mr. Chavda attended the hearing in person ain the favor of disclosure of information.
