Hi LeslieThanks for your mail. This is certainly the wrong side of the coin
and if I may add, the mail has been backed and supported by people who are
against dolphy and the bcs. You need to see the papers with the agrieved
families who are presently receiving public support,only then you will see why
such mails are being sent. It is out of frustration.Also if the people who sent
these mails have their papers in order, then WHY ARE THEY RESORTING TO VIOLENCE
TO THE EXTENT OF HARMING WOMEN AND INNOCENT PEOPLE WITH THE POLICE ON THEIR
SIDE. We all know the reason when the police become silent spectators to a
scene and do not act in justice, for what is transpiring before their eyes.
You need to do an indepth study of the entire situation,before accepting and
adhering to their claims.Their claims are false. Today Nicholas almedia from
Sahar citizens forum and st. Johns the Baptist save committe, decided to sit on
a hunger strike it was not a very good
scene from the point of our MLA and the local councillor. Nicholas had given a
notice to the police that he was sitting on a fast unto death infront of Little
Heights. He as given permission provided on the assurance that there would be
no law and order problem. GUESS what: Before he could even land there to start
his programme, the councillor from 95 ward was there the MLA was seen on the
road and as soon as nicholas set foot there, he was hustled into a waiting
police van and taken to bandra police stn. the police in connivance with the
politician clout, put a charge of 151/3 wherein it stipulates that he has
caused a law and order prob; and the inspector who accompanied him to the court
wanted him to be put behind bars for 15 days and debarred from coming to
bandra. What crime did he commit he didnt even start anything but was whisked
away.The bandra police received a slap on their face when the magistrate
laughed at them and discharged him. even
the magistrate realised the ploy and connivance of the police in this matter
and put forth questions which the inspector could not reply. Preplanned attempt
to put nicholas behind bars as he has filed a case againsst the MLS which is
pending in court and also because he is the only one who had the guts to say
things to him during the last walk we had to his place. For such a simple act,
he was considered to be a criminal and when the people of pereirawadi were
beaten black and blue with stones even at the dead of night in their sleep, the
bandra police said it was a case of falling down and getting hurt. Where are we
heading and whom are we shielding- the innocent and helpless or the wrongdoers
and politicians. This is not a political battle but the politicians behind
Pereirawadi should be brought to book but getting to them where it hurts -
ELECTIONS. If we seriously take \the resolution we made at st.josephs, we can
hope for a better candidate with a
