Hi Bimal, This group offers a platform to transmit a message to nearly a thousand (we shall be there soon) dedicated RTI enthusiasts dispersed throughout India uncensored. There is potential for misuse of this resource to spread mis-information and dis-information on RTI unchallenged.
When I (on behalf of numerous silent knowledgeable RTI'ans) punch holes in opinions / views of other members, it is usually confined to an alternative possible interpretation of the RTI Act or of some procedure, and is in the larger public interest of the group and the RTI cause in general. If you disgree with my punching please feel free to point out where I am wrong. Nobody is going to censor or moderate what you say - especially if you respect group policies about spamming and decorum. Lastly, it is my experience that (silly little) RTI activists are rigid, dogmatic, and unwilling to accept that there can be any interpretation of law possible other than their own. This group also exists to disabuse them so as to teach them to think like P/As think. I can only say why SROY do no control himsel and desist from his punching remarks. I experince these type of edisode happens mostly with SROY. We are working with RTI to bring changes in the system. If some one do not like my way of working, he does not have any right to rebuke. We all are fellow citizen, not slave of others. > > > On Tue, 25 Nov 2008 Jagannath Chatterjee wrote : > >Me too.
