Sarabjit

All these years this platform moderated by you had been cruising along like
a song and now suddenly you've been asked to fall in line !! Your chief
protagonist whose mails below challenges your conspiracy theory and teaches
you among other things "How to be a moderator".

Not long ago he'd also asked me to be a part of a "hush-hush" inspection
group he was leading. Fortunately, my bio-data didn't make the qualifying
standards of his clandestine group and I had to shake him off over the
phone.

I look at this issue, may be differently. When you voluntarily come into any
group such as this one, you need to accommodate yourself rather than force
your views on host of others and fight like hell to dominate from Day One
.
Well, all of us have a choice to start our own groups and lead it rather
than ride two horses by attempting to dominate in HJ and here. This is
neither reasonable or fair.

Inspection of documents, whether or not allowed or practical is fraught with
grave dangers and I subscribe to your views as also of using RTI in a more
judicious and reasonable manner.

In any case, before embarking or biting big over "inspections" it might be
prudent if every activists has experience of at least fifty RTI
applications, successful or otherwise, and a reasonable understanding of how
the RTI Act works on both sides. I do not think I will ever know all of RTI
Act 2005, am still on a learning curve and find it rewarding by filing RTI
applications that bring results and benefits within the community I live in.
Those who doubt may contact me separately.

Days of armchair activism are over.
