I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to the families and
friends of those who have lost their lives or injured in the terrorist attack
in Mumbai. Each one of demised brave person was an INDIAN SHAHEED OF WAR. Most
important victim of the situation is the Accountability.
I became ill after coming back from outside, as such I am delayed to prepare
and post my message on this very Important Subject, in response to the extra
ordinary situation that has developed.
The Government of India has completely failed to address the serious problem,
caused by repeated terrorist attacks, especially in the last few months. There
is no doubt that Dr. Manmohan Singh individually is an honest person. But, in
the present scenario he is simply accountable to an individual i.e. UPA
Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi, who is hiding the true facts, regarding her
permanent prevailed allegiance, to the Constitution of Italy, to hold the
control over the reins of powers, in Congress Party. Now, reports are flashed
that after a series of terrorist attacks and intelligence failures, Home
Minister Shri Shiv Raj Patil has resigned in view of his criticism in CWC,
claiming that he is taking moral responsibility for the same. Why Shri Shiv Raj
Patil alone should be made morally responsible? Similar situation was there
after the recent terrorist attack in September in Delhi. At that time, he had
offered his resignation. But, he was directed by
Smt. Sonia Gandhi not to resign from the office of the Home Minister of India,
under the umbrella of her extra Constitutional Authority. With this background
of reality why the Congress President should not take full moral responsibility
for the terrorist attack in Mumbai?
That most of the places, where the terrorists are manufactured, are situated in
Pakistan. Therefore, the attack on Mumbai is a bizarre war by Pakistan,
irrespective of the fact that whether Dawood Ibrahim has a hand or not. First
time in the history, an accused (ISI Chief) was invited by the Prime Minister
to help in the investigation. This shows and sends a very wrong but mockery of
message to Pakistan that what type of government, we are running in India?
Our Brave Police Officers, including ATS Chief Hemant Karkare, Mumbai DCP Ashok
Kamte, Encounter Specialist Vijay Salaskar, and few other fellow colleagues
including the Driver were killed before they could have launch any fitting
action against terrorists, indicates that our working system has too many
holes.
The whole Country is raising a loud voice that when Government of India has not
sought any fresh trial of Afzal Guru, and any trial is not pending against him,
then why for more that three years his, hanging is put in abeyance. Such
attitude is sending a very very strong and wrong message that our policy
against terrorists are non-existent.
In the Mumbai attacks, several foreigner nationals, including from USA, UK,
Japan and other countries, have died, therefore, it would have been better that
instead of telephoning the Pakistan Prime Minister our Prime Minister would
have telephoned the heads of these States, to find out the real source of the
terrorist activities committed in India, whereby their Citizens have been
killed. This diplomatic action could have helped in bringing a strong
International Pressure upon Pakistan.
There is an urgent need of Constituting an “OPEN ENQUIRY COMMISSION”, headed by
a sitting Supreme Court Judge, to decide accountability for the failure to
prevent recent terrorist attacks. Commission should have the mandate to hold an
open Enquiry and submit its transparent report.
India by its action needs to send a strong message to Pakistan, that it is not
a weak and vulnerable country and will not be satisfied just by such messages
that Pakistan is equally concerned about terrorist activities.
About 3 Crore Bangladeshi migrated illegally entered India and obtained Ration
Cards and Election Identity Cards creating a serious threat to our national
security and social security. In this regards a strong policy is required. All
Indian Citizens should be given a Citizenship Card, covering date of birth,
place of birth, name of School of first education etc. Ration Cards and
Election Identity Cards of these migrants should be destroyed through an
effective law. Till this policy is not made and brought into action, it will be
sending a strong counter message that these migrants are allowed to stay in
India, just for political mileage through Vote Bank Politics, at the very cost
of the interests of National Security.
TRUTH SHALL ALWAYS PREVAIL
