Subject: Security lapse in VISA system For Saudi Arabia (umrah visas) ,and
Private Travel Agents for visa process are voilating laws and obtaining visas
by forgery of documents and human trafficing is done ,Criminals can leave the
country very easy , this system of obtaining visa should be reform by home
ministry of maharastra.
I requested some RTI member to come and look into matter and ask for rules for
obtaining umrah visa for saudia arabia and compare it with our present visa
process system ,
I have witten points below information from home ministry can be extract from
this points .
Respected Sir.
It is observed that no police scanning system is there with the process of
Private Travels Agents obtaining visas for saudi arabia ( umrah visa), and due
to this Travel Agents are doing trafficing for criminals and womens for saudi
arabia.
It is obeserved that From website information rules for obtaining visas for
umrah saudi arabia are
1) It require that the application form to be fill by applicant and sign by
himself.
ANS :But No application form is provided to visitors only agent take passport
and money and agent them self fill form and sign themself , on behalf.. it is
forgery ...
2) It is require to have International vaccination certificate: vaccination
against Meningitis (Meningicocal) must be done more than 10 days
before entering Saudi Arabia and must be valid for three (3) years; ( ORIGINAL
certificate AND one photocopy.)
ANS : But it is observed in that no Vaccination is done, so it is requested to
inquiry wheteather bogus medical certificate are submmited , by Travel agents
and Doctors who are issue it .
3)It is require that Ladies must be accompanied by a male relative (Mahram)..
ANS : But it is observed that at last moments travel agent add unknown womens
passport with passengers passport who are going for umrah, as mahram (close
relative) they show that women as sister, aunt, any they obtain womens visa by
forge documnets in this way women trafficing is done on behalf of umrah visa,
this womens are in this way traffic illegally into saudi arabia , Because
single women cannot travel with any visa and this is the easy way they are send
.
4)Agents on there visiting card and calender are writing in services : visa ,
umrah, passport, visa consultant.
ANS (But how agents can assist for passport no commisioner office have any
authorised passport agents)
It is Requested for home ministry to reform the visa obtaining system for
saudia arabia..
Police does not maintain any record for umrah tourist for saudia arabia and
mumbai ,aurangabad Private travel agents are doing forgery of documents and
sending crimnals and making lacs of money due to weakness in visa system.
1)Police should collect the list of passengers who have gone have umrah visa
from Travel Agent and take statement from passenger whether they were given
application form for visa who have sign it ?they or agent.
2)Police should inquiry to passenger where there vaccination done if
vaccination not done how bogus medical certificate were subbmitted to consulate
of saudia arabia.
3)Passengers plan for how many days and details of which city they have been
and for how many days.
4)It is found there is no co ordination of information between saudi consulate
and home ministry how many ,thousands of people flee the country illegaly after
comiting crime...
5) Private Travels Agents with criminal records are in this business who have
well contact with passport office , passport department of different
commisioner office, criminal records people doing business with sending people
to foreign contry should be inquire .
