Dear Mr Kumar & others

I had gone to the Mumbai high court some days back and stumbled on a calendar
Of the high court, besides public/bank holidays they have about 20 days May
holidays
15 to 20 days Diwali holidays, about 10 to 15 days Christmas holidays
Wild guess I think they work only 6 months in a year, and be paid for 12 months
Plus I believe paid holidays foreign trips with family
Today a Excellent MBA graduate working in any prestigious company puts in about
12 to 16 hours of work ( say 2 shifts  without overtime pay ) no family life,
marriage out of question as who will look after their children ( only some good
and fit grand parents
taking their grand children to school, playing with them etc, ) Pityful
scene
today our younger educated generation live in fear as companies  hire and
fire.
But theses Judges are having a ball of a time, because of so many holidays
given to  courts, court cases take so many years, dates after dates are given
citizens are haressed, even though we live in a so called biggest Democratic
country, objecting before judges for giving time and again adjurnments.they have
powers  to get you arrested and put you behind bars, Meaning DO NOT TALK SHUT
UP   if you do not attend on a certain date, and if case comes up  you or your
lawyer is absent case can be dismissed.  Under RTI do not  ask for
Judges assests it could amount to a criminal offence.  . Advocates are least
affected
They make their money, NO RECESSION for them , so now everyone want to do Law.
Today its so difficult to get a good honest reasonable cost. lawyer, as they
too want to get rich overnight, don’t blame them as circumstances make them do
so ( buy a 1 BHK flat
In a decent society pay 1 crore. ) I had gone to inquiry dept Mumbai high court
to collect some documents, the man before me told the lady to speak in Hindi as
he does not understand marathi, after that came my turn I spoke in hindi, this
women has the odasity to ask me how many years are you living in Mumbai I told
her since birth 56 years
She said 56 years and you cannot talk in marathi, I told her out of 56 years I
worked in foreign countries, where no one speak marathi, I told her that I
understand marathi
But because of no pratice I cannot speak marathi fluently, I was angry and I
told this lady in hindi I am a mumbai manoos not a gaati manoos ( not to offend
any one, Gaati manoos are people who came to Mumbai from the Ghats )
There is a ENGLISH saying ‘GOD SAVE THE QUEEN’
PLEASE GOD SAVE OUR COUNTRY AND OUR WORLD which today lies in perils.

Dear Citizens of India,

Time has come to lodge our protest against the lethargic JUDICIARY , which is
living on our hard earned money paid to them through collected funds i.e. Income
Tax and Service Tax. But in return, we, the citizens of India, never get
Justice.

Are they doing justice to millions of cases pending in the courts? Are they
bothered about the harassment of millions of litigants who are paying them their
bread and butter??? They simply harass the litigants by adjourning the cases and
in the end matter between harassed litigants is settled through
Lok-Adalats….What a Mockery of Justice….Even a village Panchayat can run Lok
Adalat..Why we need these Judges???

Recently they have adopted another style of not admitting the petitions and
rejecting/dismissin g one the first hearing without even reading the case.
Why they don’t work for extra hours and Extra time for us. After all they are
Public Servants.

Contrarily, these Judges enjoy the vacations/holidays for months at a stretch
when more than 40 Million cases are pending in the courts. On Diwali, they take
one week holiday. On Dusherra they again go on one week holiday. In summer, they
are closed for about two months. No other Government office is closed for so
many days. Even our children’s go to school for more number of days than their
working days.

So, why to waste Public funds on them. Why to pay lucrative salaries to them
when they are not performing.

In fact, the Government run PSUs get paid on basis of their performance. The
lower the performance of PSU the lesser the pay they get. So, why extra bonanza
for these highly no performers.

Let them show the performance before we accord our permission to hike their
salaries.

Let’s come forward and put our suggestions before the Standing Committee.
Kindly e-mail your opinion to Shri K.P. Singh, Joint Director, Rajya Sabha
Secretariat, Room No 212 A9 Second Floor, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi
110001 (Tel: 23034292 and Fax 23016784, E-mail: kpsi...@sansad. nic.inor
rscp...@sansad. nic.in

Please forward this e-mail for wider publicity and awareness.
