The interesting thing in this case (of P.P. Khattar) is that every time the CIC orders that a document be given to him - the Police destroys the document OFFICIALLY safe in the knowledge that CIC shall do nothing against them. Even the concerned PIO DCP(SW) Shalini Singh was fully inclined to give Mr Khattar all the information, but the JT(CP) Police(HQ) was over-riding her for corrupt reasons.
The tragedy is that episodes like this are a blot on the CIC and create a situation where the PA's have no fear / respect for the CIC whatsoever. Sarbajit --- In [email protected], "S. K.
