STUDENT GOT 57% MARKS IN EXTERNAL
EXAM CONDUCTED BY PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY BUT DECLARED FAIL DUE TO LOVELY
INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (PHARMACY) HIGHHANDEDNESS.
LOVELY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
PHAGWARA FAILED CANDIDATE AND AWARDED 5 MARKS OUT OF 10.
RESULT: FAILED DUE TO COLLEGE'S
HIGHHANDEDNESS.

STUDENT NAME: AKANKASHA MADHOK
7091250822

My daughters are twins and are
studying in a same class. The second one was already in Lovely Institute of
Technology (Pharmacy) at Phagwara and the first one was at ISF College of
Pharmacy, Moga one of the renowned colleges in the field of Pharmacy in India.
But due to health reasons I have to migrate her to Phagwara's college.

She had got supplementary
in Maths in first semester and Organic chemistry in Second semester. As on
third
semester she had been migrated to Lovely  Institute of Tech (Pharmacy) Phagwara
she appeared in 3rd Semester exam of B.Pharma in Lovely under PTU. She got 68%
marks in 3rd Semester, the result which had been declared about a week back.
Now
the result of 2nd Semester for which she had been placed under supplementaries
she cleared with 45 marks out of 80 in Maths in External exam (conducted by
PTU)
and 5 marks out of 20 in Internal Exam. Sir, now the question is that if
we club
internal and external exams result i.e. 45+5=50 marks then also she had cleared
as 40% marks is required to be taken for the successful candidate. The
clear-cut highhandedness of the college and university is that
she had not got the result officially Till date. The university officials
don't provide result in writing. I met with Deputy Registrar Mr. Jaspal Singh
and talked to him that does it appeal to you that the student who got 57% marks
in External Exam conducted by the university will get 25% marks in internal
exam
conducted by the college. He himself astonished to note the factor and said you
go to college and ask the Pricipal the motive behind it. But it is very sure
that there is a conspiracy behind it. I demanded the result in writing, he
denied to provide me saying that officially we can not provide result's gadget
to the student or parents as per the guidelines of the Honourable V.C. and
Registrar. I had submitted the letter given to me by the Principal of the
college. Now the funda is that the student can not appear in internal exam in
this semester as the college has already conducted exams. Now she has to wait
for another one semester to appear in internal exam of the college. I met with

The points to be
considered:

The student has not got the official result so far.
How will she appear in Internal exam.
The examinations are scheduled to begin on May 18
but no result has been declared so far.
Student who has not cleared the exam officially and
has no written order how can she sit in exam for supplementary placed by
college.
When the form will be filled up to re-appear as she
had been marked failed by the highhandedness of the college.

IS IT FAIR TO MARK STUDENT FAILED AFTER SECURING 57% MARKS IN PTU'S
EXAM BUT FAILED DUE TO LOVELY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (PHARMACY)
HIGHHANDEDNESS THAT PROVIDED INTERNAL EXAM SCORE OF 25% AND FAILED
CANDIDATE
Sir/Madam,
It is a matter of great
conspiracy and highhandedness by Lovely Institute of Technology (Pharmacy) to
mar the future of the student Miss Akankasha Madhok 7091250822 for the reasons
best known to the management.

“ Is it a fair equation that
the student who gets 57% marks in University conducted exams has so low caliber
that she is not able to get 40% marks in internal exam conducted by the
college.
If it is so then how far the teachers are concerned about the welfare of the
students. The Management and staff left no stone unturned to fail the
candidate.

The said student is facing
the problems from the day she got migrated from ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga.
Everytime at the time of submitting the fees we have to run pillar to post to
rectify the fees. The days continuously being wasted to get this correction to
that correction. Due to which the parents have to visit again and again and the
students are suffering with the fault of Lovely Institute of Technology
(Pharmacy).

The students are forced to
run errands from Lovely Institute of Technology (Pharmacy) to Lovely
Professional University and keep on running the distance of 1-1.5 KM to get the
NOC, to get the fees deposited receipt verified. When there is no connection
whether the student has deposited the fees for Vth semester with the roll
number
of 4th Semester even then the students had been harassed to get this
done or that done.. When the exams of 4th Semester has not been
conducted then what is the fun to harass the students to get the fees of Vth
semester deposit verified. If it is then the college staff should do all the
menial jobs themselves. Why the students are being harassed. Collect all the
data whatever it is required. Whether it is not enough that the student has
deposited the fees and dues.

It is really nice that the
punitive action has been taken on the student Ms Akankasha Madhok to mar her
career by marking her failed . Kindly look in to the matter and do the
needful..

Respected
Sir/ Madam,
As very
short time has remained to go for the PTU’s
B.Pharmacy IV Semester Examinations, My daughter Miss Akankasha Madhok
7091250822 has not received roll number as Lovely Institute of Technology
(Pharmacy) the college has informed the student about the non receipt of roll
number from the University.

My
daughter had been migrated from ISF College of Pharmacy and had appeared in
3rd Semester exam at Lovely Institute of Technology (Pharmacy). The
result has been declared by the University but on surfing on the website the
result could not be located though the college has provided the detail of
success in the said examination. Madam the student has wasted the entire day to
go this counter to that though it is the deficiency  on the part of the Punjab
Technical
University or Lovely Institute of Technology
(Pharmacy)

Due to
tension of not receiving the roll number my daughter might lose her academic
year.

Today I
have come personally to collect the roll number. The college has not given a
specific reason for withhelding the roll number by the University. I request
the
Examination Conduct branch with folded hands to kindly issue me the roll
number/
admit card of my daughter. If it has already been sent or misplaced by Lovely
Institute of Technology (Pharmacy) then the duplicate roll number kindly be
issued to the candidate without further loss of time.

On May 16, 2009 at Phagwara,
After getting result verbally as no university
authority provide result in writing on the plea that The V.C. and Registrar has
forbidden us to provide the result in writing.

I met with the Principal of the
college and submitted this letter and inquired about the highhandedness of the
college for the reasons best known to them.
1.   The Principal could not provide
the reasons why not the result of my daughter has been declared so far.

2. Madhok:   If she has been marked
fail by the university due to college's highhandedness how can she appear in
College's internal exam as her result has not been provided
officially.

Principal Monica Gulati:   I have not
declared the result. Your daughter's result has not been withheld by the
university. It is not my fault.

3.   Madhok: Madam as the result has not been
declared till date.  When she will write her exam now.

Principal Monica Gulati: She will
write the exam in the next semester now. As today we have arranged the internal
exam test.
