Gnanabharathi Police of Bangalore City arrested one person Santhosh Kumar @
tagar...@ Deepu in connection with the Killing of an RTI Activist Venkatesh in
Bangalore recently. Another accused by name T C Raja is stated to be at
large. Mahithi Hakku Adhyayana Kendra had filed a Complaint before the
Karnataka State Human Rights commission. The case came up for hearing on
17.6.2009. SHRC had directed the Commissioner of Bangalore City Police to
investigate the case by an Officer not below the rank of a Deputy
Commissioner.
