TORNADO IN KARNATAKA INFORMATION COMMISSION
Report From the Capital - Bangalore
We Have received Reports that the Information Commission which is To Hear
appeals from Citizens who have been denied getting Information are being
Treated inhuimanly , These Reports Are From Activists as well as several NGOs
working on RTI implementation . A Complaint on this Working has already been
taken upto the Governor Office and to his Notice .
The Complaint to the Governor has been Made against three Information
Commissioners Namely KK Mishra , KA Tippeswamy &Dr. H N Krishna who instead of
Properly Looking into the RTI Appeals and Complaints are Giving or Delivering
Orders Favouring the PIOs who are the Resondents and accused of Not Parting
with Information which is a Complaint of Grave Nature .
Recently During the Hearing of a Citizen seeking Information , The staff of the
Information Commission Abused and Attacked and Degenrated him which was
Vehemently opposed by RTI Groups and Centres , Information commission Being an
Statutory Body which should have encouraged and Supported Activists and
Crusaders has insted of protecting them has wrong Stand /stance of Opposing is
an Evidence of this Tornado.
There is Rampant corruption in the Karnataka information commission is what
Rumors going Round in Adminstrative Corriodors and as if to support and
substantiate these Rumors the information commissioners are regularly meeting
the Accused PIOs in thier Chambers and such evidence is also provided to the
Governor .
In Several cases The Erring Respondent PIOs are Not all Issued Show cause
Notiuces but the appeals are Turned Down or Disn\missed by Dr H N Krishna CIc
is Fraught with Several other Considreations also reveals the Relationship that
the Commissioner has with the Erring PIOs is what is contained in the Complaint
Made By Mr Venkatesh Bhiovi of Bangalore with an Specfic Instance to the
Governor .

Krishna CIc for The Disposal of Appeals & complaints Without Proper Enquiry and
Hearing .
In the Meanwhile About 30 RTI Users met the SCIC Mr KK Mishra , KA Tippeswamy
and Mr Virupaxiah and Explained to them the Experiences Rather Sad ones during
