Information Act, 2005 to be held at Shri Shikshayatan, 11 Lord Sinha Road,
Kolkata – 700 071, Saturday, 19th September, 2009 at 10:00 a.m..
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Pratap Kumar Ray, Judge Calcutta High Court has kindly
consented to inaugurate the Convention. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ashim Kumar
Banerjee, Judge, Calcutta High Court and Hon’ble Justice Partha Sakha Datta,
Judge, Calcutta High Court have kindly agreed to chair the business session in
the convention.
Justice Moloy Sengupta, Justice Arunava Barua, Mr. Partha Chatterjee, MLA,
Leader of the Opposition, West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Prof. Sujato
Bhadra, Secretary, APDR Mr. Arun Bhattacharya, Chief Information Officer, Sri
Nandan Ray, Secretary, State Information Commission and delegates from RTI
Manch have consented to participate in the deliberations. Justice D. K. Basu,
Chairman, LASWEB, will preside over the inaugural session of the convention.
