Dear Group

Just for yr info

Madhavan Nambiar was Addl. Secy at DoIT in Oct 2005 when I filed
India's first valid RTI on 3.Oct.2005. Everyone there was very careful
with him and he was the trouble shooter
for DIT (along with Dr K K Bajaj). The info I requested was with him
and also Gulshan Rai who was just under him then.

When I landed at DoIT at 10:00 AM precisely on Oct 13 2005 to deposit
my further fees of Rs.10 the staff were waiting / prepared for me and
the receipt was issued within 10 minutes and inspection requested was
given to me on the spot. Of course the entire info I requested was
given to me on 27th Oct 2005, and it was so complete that I didnt feel
the need to even file a First Appeal.
