WHY ? OH WHY ? OH WHY ? Here was Mr Habibullah looking forward to his post-post retirement sinecure (Dear King Abdullah-III had even promised to extend his term to "RTI Dictator for life"). Here were we (harassed citizens) looking to wish him Godspeed from the CIC; when some fly in the ointment decided to be a royal bone in our kabab (or "gustaba"). Since, the CIC's standing counsel is not very good (understatement of the previous century), I am prepared to volunteer to defend Mr Habibullah in Srinagar if he arranges for a few houseboats for me and my staff - purely in the interest of the national RTI movement (<--- considerable stress on "movement")
