Unfortunately, the law does not provide with punishments and punitive fines as suggested by Victor , much as we might agree with whatever he states .
However, we do see that there are moves to strip the criminal of his medals and to withhold/ cancel his retirement benefits . That apart, it appears that CBI has been directed to appeal for enhancement of the prison sentence handed out to him - from 6 months to 2 years . As the Law Minister has promised action within 30 days ( or less) , we should wait before ventilating our comments further . However, what is surprising is that even after sentencing the man has been allowed to walk out on bail within a matter of few minutes , while in our holy state, Police arrests innocents on frivolous charges which have affected no one ! Re-openining of the entire case AND naming as co-consiparators the entire range of burecrats, politicians and judges + the school that dismissed Ruchica. 5. Jail + penelaties against each perporator of at least 50 lacs each to be awarded to the family (+ Aradhana for her expenses). 6.
