The report 'Whistleblower & RTI activist Sathish Shetty killed' (BM, Jan 14)
reveals how a man of exceptional nobility and moral strength met his end. This
incident is similar to IOC employee Shanmugam Manjunath’s murder. In the sole
cause of protecting society from the evil, these whistleblowers work at their
own peril. They deserve to be placed at high pedestal on par with the soldiers
guarding our borders. It is ironical we spend huge money on useless
politicians’ security, but fail to protect these heroes whose services are more
than essential. Let us salute these martyrs and imbibe their fighting spirit.
