It is a Forum to look into all the matters related with RTI activists, including their training, guidance, support and security related aspects. The Forum is going to appoint three persons in honorary capacity on voluntary basis in each State as the State General Secretary, State Counselor and State coordinator. The role of State General Secretary shall be to monitor all the RTI related activities in the State including spreading its extent and interacting with more and more associations and individuals. The State Counselor shall be the chief counselor from the National RTI Forum to counsel and assist in all matters related with RTI and RTI Act to everyone working in this field, or trying to use it for individual purposes while the State coordinator' s main role shall be to coordinate with all the NGOs/ Societies/ Associations and individuals working in the field of RTI as also to coordinate with the State Information Commission and the various offices related with the State and Central governments in the State.
