Friends, There is an important issue pertaining fees under the RTI rules for Indian citizen abroad. It pertains to the absence of procedure/rules for payment of RTI fees in foreign currency from abroad. Because of this the Indian citizen living abroad are finding it much difficult to be a part of this movement. National RTI Forum shall be pursuing this matter in its own way. A small write-up on the same issue related with RTI rules for Indian citizen abroad. Would like to have ur views on the same. Also an appeal to all those Indian citizen living abroad to sign the petition in case u find it justified.
