Hi Trilok,

may be, you have made changes in the kernel options and rebuild it, but
forgot to reconfigure your rtlinux ;-)) (see the INSTALL annotation -> topic
: SPECIAL NOTES, it means make clean && make && make install.

Greetings
Thomas

Betreff: [rtl] Kernel version mismatch..

Hi,
 I need some help.

I can successfully compile hello.c from /usr/rtlinux/examples/hello using
following command.
   gcc -I/usr/include/rtlinux -c hello.c

But when I am inserting module it gives following error.
   #insmod hello.o
hello.o Couldn't find the kernel version the module compiled for.

Is this a version problem of gcc.

-------Setup---------------------------------------
I have gcc Version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.0)
& Kernel Version 2.4.1
