Make sure the psc.o module is not loaded. Poor user code and a mistake in
our early verions of psc would allow this.
} The prepatched kernel linux-2.2.18.rtl-3.0 compiled with
} gcc 2.95.2 on a SuSE 7.1 distribution, does not seem to
} resolve the root UID correctly, even though on a SuSE 6.2
} with egcs-2.91.66, it works fine. The result on the first
} system is, that all services or programs using some getuid,
} will find that root is not root. is this a kernel or a
} comiler problem?
}
} thanks for some hints,
