As I read the messages, the problem isn't the linking but the content of
unistd.h in a C++ real-time module interfering with -- or being interfered
with -- the content of the other header files that are included. Perhaps
Ivan could tell us what all of the headers being included are and some idea
of the exact errors encountered.
