Just a quick question on this thread: is there a problem allocating memory in fifo handlers? I ask because I've been doing so for a while without running into problems. I have a user space process that sends a message to the rt process telling it to allocate a large buffer (using mbuff_alloc) and it seems to work well. Am I likely to run into problems doing that?
