Is English your first language? :)
Yes, you can run it on suse, but you need to revert your kernel back to a
slightly older version--namely 2.4.4.

www.rtlinux.com? www.fsmlabs.com? One of those places.

I am not sure what you are asking. But if you are interested in data
acquisition, look at the comedi drivers: http://stm.lbl.gov/comedi.
Also, I have some incipient data acquisition software you may find useful,
if you are into hacking at C or C++ code: http://www.rtlab.org

1) Download rtlinux 3.1
2) Download "Vanilla" Linux 2.4.4 (http://www.kernel.org)
3) Patch the Vanilla 2.4.4 kernel with the patch that comes with the
rtlinux 3.1 tar archive. This turns 2.4.4 into 2.4.4-rtl
4) Compile your shiny new 2.4.4-rtl source tree into a bzImage
5) Compile rtlinux 3.1 (it's actually just a bunch of kernel modules if I
recall correctly)
6) Enjoy!
