Hello RTLs,

we`re running RTL with SMP (rtlinux-SMP-1.2a-2.1.90) and it works fine!
The only problem we have is the combination with NTP (ntp-4.0.73e13).

Initially NTPd sets the unix clock correctly, but after this can`t tune
the timer ticks to get the unix clock synchronized to external reference.
The kernel complaines: "local_clock: ntp_adjtime failed: Invalid argument",
removing this limits form kernel results in wrong clock speed and drifting
unix time.

Does anybody know a magic scaling factor for NTPd? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks
Volker Grupe
