Hello,

after cruising the web for several houres (RTL-Homepage, RTL-Mail-Archive
and at least AltaVista), i didn't manage it to find usefull documentation
on SMP-RT-Linux :-(

As browsing the SMP-RT-Kernel-patch is a time consuming job, i decided,
that it would be more sencefull to try asking someone, who may know the
answers to my questions :-)

1. where can i find documentation on smp-rt-linux?

2. is it possible to bind rt-processes to specific CPUs on a SMP-machine?

The idea is to bind linux (IDLE-rt-process #1) to one CPU, while
binding rt-processes to the other one (maybe gives better
WCET-predictions).

Also, the goal of our researches is to find out, if it could be
possible to run RTEMS (free RT-OS) as an RT-Task under RT-Linux.
(similar to the linux-kernel running as the idle-task of RTL)

any pointers?
