Dear Real time Group
I have worked with RTlinux in summer for a project. Through that project
I have done some changes to the scheduler. And made two different
versions of an non preemptive EDF scheduler, which was a pretty easy
change and then I have compared the two versions by running many dummy
tasks on them and getting different graphs and good results.
Currently I am a master student in UBC in Vancouver, BC Canada. And I
like to start my project. I would like to have a project in Real time (
softeware preferably not hardware issues )and preferably on a RTlinux
environment. I am looking around to find a new topic to work on related
to this, but unfortunately I wasn't really successful sofar. And I
prefer to have an idea as soon as possible.
If any one knows some flaw that the current system has and need to be
worked on.
Or any type of realtime application that is worth being a start for a
master project.
Or any other ideas??
Realtime linux in embedded systems, scheduling, some future works
suspended in some projects?
I really donot expect to get a proposal from you guys, just want to get
more ideas , specially because you are much more experienced than I am.

I truly appritiate you guys, if you help me out, specially in this busy
time of year.
I wish you all a happy new year.
Thanx alot
Maryam
