I had studied the kernel patch and the documentation supplied by them on
the web sometime back. Its a firm real-time system as opposed to RTLinux
which is a hard real-time system. From their code it appears that their
scheduler is non work-conserving. Not suited for instrumentation/control
if you are looking for that. Might be more suited for multimedia
applications.
