Dear RTL'ers
Does anyone have information about a RS-485 driver for Linux which
uses the 16550A. I am interested in answers for both the standard
2.0.x kernels and for RT-Linux implementations as well as I at this
point undecided which way this project will fall (with or without
the RT patches).
I have searched with Alta-vista and found commercial products and
bad advice on how to implement it. My preference is Freeware (why
not) but will consider commercial solutions with a reasonable one
time license fee that includes source. I can write it if I must
but need to work in the project specific stuff as much as possible.
