The biggest problem you will have is dependancy on standard
C libraries. VxWorks supports most of these while rtlinux
only supports a very limited set of these (certainly most
standard library stuff, IP, stdio, alloc, etc).
"Linux Kernel Internals" (ISBN 0-201-33143-8) has an appendix
that discusses what C library functions are safe and supported in
the kernel space.
