Hello,

I'm new in the RT-Linux world and I have some serious problems
in installing it.
I made 3 attempts :
  - First one, using Linux 2.0.35 and RT-Linux 0.6 for Linux 2.0.33
(it is written in the README file that it works with other versions).
I follow all of Till's installation instructions and everything worked
fine except the last step : Run the User-Process.
After entering "./app", my computer was totally blocked (I was
forced to push the On/Off button...)
All other examples I have tested are doing the same thing except
the sound one who worked fine (I noticed that it is the only one
who use interruption instead of rt_task_make_periodic)
 - Second one, patching my kernel to have Linux 2.0.36 and RT-Linux
   releaseJ
The make all failed... (I tried it several times)
By the way, in the README file, no allusion is made to compile
the kernel... Is it normal ?
 - Third one, as the first one (back with RT-Linux 0.6 and Linux 2.0.35)
    but with different compilation options.
This time RT-Linux announce that the kernel is 2.0.33 (the first time
     it was 2.0.35, another mistery...)
I have the same problems : each time I run an example, my
    computer is blocked.

I made several assumptions :
  - RT 0.6 does not work with Linux 2.0.35
So can someone explain me how to install RT-Linux release J
(I'm sorry but the README is not really detailled) ?
  - My options of compilation are not good (I do not allow Network to
be configured ; I try once but it failed in the compilation), but
except enabling module and configuring modversions, it isn't
indicated that any options are required...
So can someone send me his configure file ?

I do hope that someone can help me because it is important for
me to install RT-Linux.

Thanks
Vincent Baccini.
