I installed V1 a few weeks back. Now is the time for me to look at inter
task communications. Naturally, I went back
to /usr/src/rtl/semaphores and discovered that function names have to be
changed (rt_schedule() is now rtl_schedule())
Makefiles adjusted etc.

What is the status of rt_ipc? Is it part of RTLinux or is it an example
of how IPC could be done a few versions back?

I think rt_ipc.o should be part of RTLinux and updated to compile and
work with future releases. As a developer
I expect not to have to modify /usr/src/rtl with every release to get my
applications running.

If this is a manpower problem, I offer to do the required changes once
and for all.
