Hi,

I still work on trying to get RTLinux capture a 500KBd stream through a
serial interface. What I noticed now is that reading from real-time
fifos in the application is apparently very slow. When I get approx.
25,000 chars per second, my program uses up 20% of the CPU time (on a
Pentium 166). If I do the same using ordinary Linux, it is less than 1%.
Any idea?
