Hai,
I am new to linux world. I would like to compile a new kernel and
followed instruction as given by Till Christian on the web. Also I am
appling RT patch to it. Everything went alright, I could reboot
successfully. When I check for the rt-linux symbols in the new kernel, I
get a number '0'. According to the instruction it should be '7'. Do I have
to start the whole process again? or can I start it in the middle. I think
some changes to some files will have been made(Can somebody tell me which
files are affected in the process). So how do I revert those changes? If I
can't, how do I proceed with re-compiling. I hope thats a lot of questions
for now..... thanks in anticipation for your help.

Surya.
