I read the RTLinux "Manifesto" this morning, and noticed the latency
times that were quoted therein. Does anyone know of any source where I can
get more information on worst-case performance of the standard kernel using
[pthread_]sched_.* functions and mlock (if there is an upper limit)? I
looked around on the web but came up empty handed.
Our limits are _around_ 20ms, and we could tolerate some amount of
fluctuation around this point. 50ms would be unacceptable in all
circurstances.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
