I upgraded from RTL 0.9J to 1_1 and had some problems with the examples and the
Makefile:

In RTL1_1 the modules are built as .o files but the insmod statements don't have
the .o so I get module not found errors unless I change the Makefile. Why does
insmod expect a .o and rmmod fail if it is used ? Is this part of the famous
Unix mystique?

The RTL1_1 installation examples .o and modules are from kernelk 2.0.35.
Shouldn't they be dropped from the tar file and rebuilt from the source during
the make all ?
