Wow, cool, how about putting a patch up on the FLTK bazaar page (or at
least send me a copy :) - I've been hooked on FLTK as well.

I just found the Qp library after I read your note, it looks pretty slick.

I'm considering adding threads to my app in conjunction with the
purchase of a dual PII motherboard. 

I plan to try the new Celeron 6905 Slockets from MSI, they have a jumper
on the PPGA to Slot 1 adapter allowing use of 2 celerons in an SMP
motherboard (no more soldering). This plus the idea from Tomasz Motylewski
to cut down on jitter (interrupt ahead of the deadline and countdown by
monitoring the TSC) seems like a good approach; has anyone tried these
slockets?
