hello. I am writing a paper on real time features in linux (not just rtlinux) for a class I am taking this semester. I've read teh faqs and the paper and I think I understand the general idea. There is a lot of stuff in the code that I don't pretend to understand but there a few things that I feel like I should know, I am hoping someone can help me clear it. in the modified irq.c (releasDpatch) how is rtl_global.rtl_off used? I can see it's tested here and there but I can't see where it's changed except for rtl_init(). also another question. Tehre were some emails a few weeks ago about RTLinux in 2.3.x. The way I interpreted this is that RTLinux will be part of the main kernel and not a separate patch in the next version (is this right?) that's it for now. I'll probably post some more questions over the next few days. If any one cares to respond it's really appreciated.
